I think he would have to undergo some kind of transformation. As we all do as our life progresses. Most people believe off of faith. Indy SAW. His dad understood. Remember when he asked what he got out of it. Henry said "illumination". If you did not believe and you witnessed the power of the Ark, met a centuries old knight, and witnessed the healing power of the grail itself, I think you would have to reconsider your standpoint on life :)
