: between the lamb and the cow, the cow wins in my book simply because it is more rugged. It's very nice indeed. Peter has always stood behind the lamb as it was what was used in the movies, but he is obviously out to serve us, the customer. Goatskin is very nice. I've had many a G-1 jacket made from it. For that matter horse can be fantastic (once it's broken in) as well. It all comes down to what you prefer. These days we have so many choices a guy could go insane trying to figure out what to get. I have gotten 4 jackets in less than a year's time trying to figure out what I like best. Even lamb is nice and has it's place. It just doesn't hold up as well in the real world. Happy Hunting
