That is a problem unfortunately since every religion tends to view its beliefs as being the correct ones and encourage their followers that it is their duty to "spread the word". I am not against people doing such, but it is often taken to extremes. I think the offer should be out there, because in some cases, it really does help people who are lost in their personal lives and perhaps religion serves as a excellent source of release for them. On the flip side, it can be overwhelming at times. I went to a small liberal arts college and at least twice a year, there were Christian preachers (I have no idea what sect it was, but it was messed up) screaming at all of us heathen college students, calling us all sorts of names and telling us we were going to hell. There was a large openly gay community on the campus, and they took the brunt of the insults from these people. It's tactics like that, that would turn anyone off to religion, and have nothing to do with what Jesus would be about.
