Hi MK - I am looking at my new cowhide jacket and it is the same colour as the lambskin that I own. It's also the same as my previous Flight Suits jacket. It is definitely not almost black.

Patterson - I asked Peter about the goatskin today on the phone. It's true that he feels it is a nice grain and drape, but he maintains that is an excellent option for a hard wearing jacket but still thinks the soft cowhide is the one.

I asked for my cargo pocket flap to be attached to the jacket using the "foot" seam instead of "edge row", and I had about 3/4 of an inch taken off the collar.
