What kind of finsh on the indy pants??

Hi guys.

I just got my LL bean pants in, and i must say they are worth the money, very high grade slacks, The only problem is that they came unfinished. ( Did you know that llbean has a lifetime warrenty on there cloths? Great for those hard on cloths indys out there)

anyway, the pants had a cool looking unfinished sow job on them. I was thinking about getting them done the same way when i get them altered.

so my quesion is finally :-) Are the pants suppose to be an unfinished or finished hym on the bottom?
