Sony and Toshiba have come forth and said that they will NOT be incorporating the DIVX feature into their DVD players. (Unless the market totally embraces it... which seems only logical) The anti divx campaign seems to be strong, but this is a new angle on things that I have not seen floating around much. Let's punish the companies who are supporting it (JVC, Pioneer, Zenith, and a few others) buy refusing to buy their players, DIVX equipped or not. And lets SURE AS HELL not by anything from Circuit City while they continue to support DIVX. We are winning the war for free DVD. This is another good way to show big business that we will not tollerate this "Big Brother" like behavior and this LUDICROUS concept, at the same time saying "thank you" and otherwise supporting those who don't.
