It depends again on which story is more accurate (which I think MK is going to try to make some progress on). Did Mrs. Landis already have a prototype of the final design from Wilson's or Western that she took with her to Berman's?
Or did she, Monty Berman, and Peter Botwright design it "on the fly" at Berman's from several samples there as told by Peter?

This to me is the real open question.
