Wested LC in newhide - JUST ARRIVED

Just received my shipment from Peter (it took a month 7/19 to 8/20). I just can't believe the newhide is *cowhide*. I have never felt cowhide so soft and light anywhere. Jacket fit to my specs(size 46R). I normally wear a 44R off the rack and wanted that extra size for a possible sweater underneath. Lowered armpits 1 inch lower from standard and I am glad I got that mod. Ordered 2 inside zippered pockets with cotton body and satin sleeves. I am now glad that I didn't go all satin. The arms felt noticable hotter. The main zipper, now nickle is really high quality. But as a *yank*, I am having issues operating the zipper from the *other* side. Yikes! I'll get better with practice.

Only a minor issue so far with the collar length, 4 inches. I am busily studying pictures. I am assuming so far that this seems to be already covered ground. Jury is still out, if I will modify the collar. If so, whether I find someone local to do it or send it back to Peter(???).

Anyway, very happy with the acquisition.
