I like the conjecture. It's true that we don't know a whole lot about Ravenwood. I believe he was featured in a comic book, though. I like the idea of him being "Fedora" or he being more of an adventurer than scholar. But Marion says that Abner traveled around looking for "little bits of junk." That sounds more akin to a true archaeologist than a grave robber.
