...because Lucas could still make Indy 4, and not use Ford at all. Maybe what he plans to do is to make 3 more films, using a different and younger actor to portray Indy between Flannery and Ford. Or something like that. The Star Wars treatment. With Indy being so well known, it might be a bankable item. Regards, Fedora
