Old film looking really good!

I just went and saw 'Apocalypse Now Redux' on a large screen in Santa Rosa.
Why do I mention this? 'Apocalypse Now' is older that 'Raiders' and has been restored to look amazingly good.
Film grain isn't noticably worse than in new films (But I think, 'Apocalypse Now' was shot on 70mm wasn't it? That would help explain the quality), only the maximum density (shadows) was a little lower than we are used to these days (the dark areas/shadows look a bit washed out). The sound was great, too!
I wish that a restored Indy trilogy was re-released in theaters.
