I agree with most of what you said As I stated in a earlier post, Lucas made Raiders between Empire and Jedi and there is no reason why he cant do this again with Indy 4. I just cant figure out why he wont do it!!!!! For Gods sake lets break the monotony of 3 straight Star Wars movies from Lucas film.
