YIJC doesn't really hold any importance to me. In my opinion, Indiana Jones dogma ends with the movies. Anything else, such as the books, tv shows, comics, etc., I don't really consider to be a part of the IJ timeline. In other words, if a new movie or video game were to be made that didn't quite jive with the rest of the stuff, it wouldn't bother me at all. That isn't to say that I don't enjoy that other stuff, I just don't hold them to their word.
