Remy from Young Indy killed himself?

Hey guys,

A week or so ago I was checking the IMDB and looked up Ronny Coutteure (the actor who played Remy, Young Indy's "big-boned" Belgian friend) and listed his death as "suicide." Last year, when his death was first announced, there was no specifics of how he died, and now they are saying it's suicide. This shocked me since the Remy character he played seemed so very happy (I know that a character is not the same as the actual actor, but still, that's how I usually associated him). In addition, in the YIJC behind-the-scenes book, the actor seemed really happy about his life and how everything was going great for him in 1992. Does anyone by any chance know why he killed himself or am I asking the wrong people?
