Just took a look at your website link. As you're interested in knighthood era, Crusades, etc., I recommend looking into histories of the Islamic/Arab world during this period (for example, biographies of Saladin, general works regarding Arab exploration of East Africa and India, etc.). Besides being interesting history themselves, they may offer a new perspective on the Crusades and a larger context for your interest in European knighthood.
I guess this is sort of Indy related, right? History? Crusades?
