I picked up the re-mastered trilogy the other day and.....

I have to say I was pretty impressed. I have been watching the letterboxed movies from my laserdisks for years now and I consider these (the vhs') to have a sharper image and better sound separation. The reason I picked them up after so long is that I found the trilogy used for twenty bucks and also that I had been dying to see the interviews. Not to add fuel to the fire, and I know that guys have been waiting for those dvd's, but if Paramount had the authority to put these out themselves, they would undoubtedly screw it up. They are notorious for re-releasing movies on dvd with no extras at all. When George gets around to putting these out, I think we are going to get a jewel of a release and I think most of us will be happy we waited. Hang in there! Cheers
