You're right about todoy's movies' fight scenes being edited too fast. Car chase scenes are even worse: just a bunch of camera shaking and quick-tempo music. (E.g. "The Rock" when Nicholas Cage is driving the Ferrari. Whatever happened to "Bullit?" The last really good chase I've seen was in "Ronin.") The Raven Bar gunfight isn't the best, though. There are miscues like Indy suddenly shooting an automatic instead of a revolver, the automatic needing a new clip after too few rounds, etc. It's still a good gunfight, though. A couple of other good movie gunfights are The gunfight at the O.K. Corral in "Tombstone" and the gun battle towards the end of "Taxi Driver." At least in my humble opinion.
