I think the game you're referring to is the Sega Genesis "The Young Indiana Jones: Instruments of Chaos" game. It's a platform-type of game where young Indy is working the British government or something. I can't be too sure. I'll have to scan my back issues of Sega Visions magazines. But rest assured, the game exists.
