If you look down on the top of the hat, the brim is probably bent straight across the front of the crown. That's the problem. Put it on and slide your thumbs along the underside of the brim to about 2" back from the 'straight' bend. Now bend the sides up to touch the crown, letting the brim fold down to your nose. After this it should look like it's bent AROUND the front of the crown.
