Yep, the camera doesn't lie. The calm and collected guy swinging with the hook close to his chest is a stunt player(Jack Dearlove???) while the Indy swinging wildly and holding on for life is Harrison Ford. This has always bothered me, I mean in some scenes it doesn't matter if an actor is in a different possition in the next shot because a small amount of time may have past and the actor may have shifted. But when a character starts moving in one position, then is seen in another and then back to the original position in a sequential shot, the scene looks fake and you can tell different actors were used.
