The Future of Jones

I am happy to see that Indiana Jones fans still exist now in the final days(er months) of the 20th century. I was recently thinking that Indiana Jones was permanently dead. Its been almost 10 years since the last Indiana Jones movie came out. 5(?) years since the end of Young Indy and the book series is coming to its death with Max McCoy's final book "The Secret of The Sphinx." Is there really a future for Jones. I'm pretty sure Indy IV wont come out anytime within the next 20 years so by then the fan following(the heart of the Indy franchise) may die also. Oh well those are my pointless words.
