Seems the re-release of E.T.: The Extraterrestrial may reveal the ultimate fate of the DVD release of Raiders. Political correctness seems to be winning the day. Remember when they changed Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland - the pirates were no longer interested in chasing girls, just plates of food? Anyway, ET is rumored to have been re-cut to get rid of things no longer correct or funny, like the line where one of the kids calls the other "penis breath". If this is what is going on behind the scenes with Indy on DVD, Raiders will probably be the length of a sitcom...
