They really didn't cut too much......and what they DID remove was really inconsequential to the overall story ....and there were some things that had to be tweaked to fit into the pacing, but overall, it is probably just about the best fantasy film I have ever seen.
I have always said that peter Jackson can do no wrong...now I know it's true!!
