There are at least two women he TRULY loved--his wife, Deirdre Campbell (as I'm sure you know), from INDIANA JONES AND THE DANCE OF THE GIANTS and INDIANA JONES AND THE SEVEN VEILS; and Alecia Dunstin, from all three Max McCoy novels. Remember the curse... "You will kill what you love." I believe in HOLLOW EARTH Indy says words to the effect of "The only reason she's still alive is because I haven't told her how I feel about about her."
