When Star Wars first came out, it was a big hit and George Lucas spent a great deal of his time working on the sequels. Raiders of the Lost Ark came out in 1981 right after The Empire Strikes Back and right before Return of the Jedi. Now that George Lucas is spending a great deal of his time on Star Wars again, he has made Episode I and Episode II comes out this year. Will Indy IV be made in between Episodes II and III, like he did previously with Raiders? Who knows. Just an observation.
