"Kid", "Sweetheart", "Doll"? I kept waiting for Chewie to come out from the shadows and save him. Fortune and glory? That seemed awful Han Soloish. The fruit scene was a reshoot of Empire with Lea in the Falcon. They even recreated the Han Solo gag of running from stormtroopers with the thugees.
I did like the darkness of the film. The dinner scene still has to go down as one of the worst scenes I've seen in a long time.
I agree with Fall Guy about Lucas and his directing. Not that he's bad, I just think his talents lie elsewhere. He's a great idea man! Who can't love Hamlet being told in outer space?! Still a shame they couldn't have kept Grace Kelly as originally planned. (In SW that is)
