I don't know what's up, we rarely agree on anything. :p
Anyway, Raiders will always come first. It's the perfect adventure movie, I even forgive it those corny fantasy elements.
ToD was a departure, and while I see many shortcomings (my EARS!), I find its darkness oddly refreshing. Although I love the Pankot dinner scene, I don't think that's typical Indian food (for those yelling "racism/stereotype"). ;)
LC is just so calculated, it wants to appeal to everyone...

: I agree with you again. What's goin' on here?
: I liked Indy dealing with the occult and making it a darker movie. It's my least favorite but not because of it doesn't deal with God. I think they caught such flack for TOD being so dark that they did exactly what you said and basically changed a few (very few) things of Raiders and made Last Crusade. Having the 'God' factor worked well with the Nazis (who will always be movies favorite bad guys and never un-pc)because Hitler was searching out those things.
: I'm just rambling here.
