"Catacombs in Venice?" Hmm........

I can't believe that I never thought about it until someone else brought it to my attention.
Venice is a city that sits right at sea level. It HAS NO catacombs, and if it did, they would be flooded with filthy water and discarded spaghetti.
Rome might have been a better idea to use, with literally hundreds of miles worth of catacombs under the city, but I'm sure they had their reasons for Venice, perhaps since they spent all that money on a boat chase, and they weren't about to leave that on the cutting room floor.
Most of you folks are a little sharper than I am and probably already knew this one, but it seemed like a good thing to share.
Let's be careful out there.
