: : Won't Ford busy with the Cuny biopic? Variety reported earlier this month that production was scheduled to begin in early spring 2003. Ford makes rountinely one movie per year (none in '96), and now we learn that he has three movies (the Revolution Studios one, the Cuny biopic, 'A Walk Among the Tombstones') and Indy 4 lined up? There is no way that he will do all 4 movies by 2005. Let's hope he drops some project other than Indy!

:
: Oh, forgot about the Cuny biopic. Technically, he could still do all of them before Indy 4, by having the first two wrapped by spring of 2003, then Indy 4 starting in 2004.

: Personally, I don't put that much stock into the Tombstones film yet...sounds like wishful thinking on the producers' part that it will film this year. I just hope the Revolution film isn't that cop drama with Hartnett.

: (Btw, the plot of "A Walk Among the Tombstones" is roughly about a private eye (which would be Ford's role) who helps out a drug dealer who's wife has been ransomed then murdered.)

Sounds like a "safe" movie. Who wouldn't want to see Ford as a trenchcoat and hat-wearing, slightly seedy - yet crusty, earring-sporting, disillusioned, knuckledusting gumshoe? ;)
I always thought an older Indy, tired of chasing around the globe in search of adventures, might actually become a sleuth. Maybe he'd specialize in stolen artifacts and murdered museum curators/archivists? ;)
