Well, I don't have either system, but the XBox seems to edge the PS2 in terms of graphics and overall gameplay- at least according to most online gamers. (I did a little impromptu research a few weeks ago, while considering getting the new Spiderman game.)

XBox also has what promises to (finally) be a good Superman game coming out this fall, so I will probably go with the XBox for Indy.

The new game looks really cool, but I do hope it has a little more action than Infernal Machine did- and no more of that etheral world nonsense.

Oh, and let's hope somebody out there thought to include a little Indy-ish 'teaser' level before the actual game starts, too.
