Archaeological Dig

I just got back from my second year of working on a pre-clovis site. I didn't realize Archaeology could be so much fun! I feel that I added a lot to my skills and learned a great deal, but in the process we had a really great time. The temperature was 95 in the shade, and a lot more than that at the clovis level in the hole. I had to dig and haul my own dirt a lot. We could have used a few more people. Beer comsumption doubled and we didn't get to sleep before midnight or later every night. I can't imagine a better group of people to work with. Indy should have had it so good! If you even think you would like to be an Archaeologist, try it. It's better than in the movies.
