Leave your myths alone, because our personal interpretations of it are much better than anything you could ever make up 20 years later. We just don't get paid for ours.

Lucas created the basic character of Indiana Jones but it was Spielburg and Ford who really refined it. Lucas originaly inteded for Jones to be a Manhatan playboy. I read in a book that when it came to make the movie, Lucas wasn't involved much. (probably busy with SW.) Lucas saw the finished product and suposedly liked it allot. Maybee he will be too busy with episode III to be involved much in Indy IV. I agree with your concearns though. Do I detect a love triangle? "I've got a bad feeling about this."
