Well, of course it's all relative, just like most musicians will tell you there's only one song and they just add a measure or two to it. Just like the contributions that Lucas CGI's over is just as valid (as art) as any of his own input.

This is all a moot point anyway, as we're all fans of SW and Lucas anyway. I also seriously doubt he'll ever get away with NEVER releasing the original versions again. There's just too many people out there that want THOSE versions in their collection, in the best possible format.

When he equated them to having no more value (as an addition to the DVD) than the earlier rough cuts would have. Also, when he says he considers the Special Edition to be the Original Trilogy, and doesn't even consider the originals anymore.

PS. Oh, as for ROTJ being one of the strongest entries...I know it's hated by many, but it still edges both the prequels because it's got Harrison Ford in it! Simple as that. ;)
