The shirt...sigh

Hi - I bid on the WAY TOO EXPENSIVE shirt too and was surprised to see it go for so much, especially for something that is not documented and conflicts with our information here. This got me thinking about something:
1) What about the shirts that are used in the Indy adventures at Disneyland and MGM Studios - where do they come from, because obviously they're still being made, and from pictures I've seen there's no doubt they come from a similar pattern.
2) We're smart people - we should be able to come up with a pattern or instructions on how to make one ourselves. Let's face it, sand-coloured shirts aren't that hard to find, much less two to cut up and "build" and Indy shirt.
Any ideas/input?
