They always have flashbacks...I was thinking that maybe his father could die while searching for something then Indy could pick up the quest, but they sorta did that with TLC. I dunno I dont think I'd want to see him die. I'd rather it be left open. So far the Indy movie have been great adventure films. I dont see any reason to try to sadden them with a death of a major character.
