I agree, and really liked Ford's performance in it. I was a little worried about the accents being ridiculous, but they were nicely understated.

Now, I know the studio was just trying to sell it, but I don't think it was wise to market the film as 'Air Force One in Russia'. When I first saw the poster, I thought it was a little too much of a lazy rip-off of the one for 'Clear and Present Danger'. (Even the taglines: 'Truth Needs A Hero'...'Fate Has Found Its Hero'.)

Still, it's funny that Ford continues to be criticized for not playing against type, when his last three films have all been that way (Random Hearts; What Lies Beneath; K-19).
