Well, this box-office weekend turned out to be a slow one overall though...

Yeah, it was No. 4 with about $13.5 million or so, but take a look at the movies that ranked No. 1 to 3. The highest was at $15.6 (Stuart Little 2 and Road to Perdition in a tie). Perhaps it could have done better, but considering the fact that this weekend wasn't a huge box-office weekend and the films that did better than K-19 were only by a little bit, I'd say it fared well, relatively speaking.
