I agree with both of you. I agree that the thirties was a real heyday for archeology in general. I agree that it is a time period that seems to suit Indy the best. It was a very romantic period in time in America, if you had money (which wasn't very likely for most people). On the other hand, I've used the same argument that Micah used to defend the idea of Indiana Jones in the fifties. He's usually in a third world country anyway, so what's the difference if it's set in the fifties or not. Good topic.
