They are not children's books and definetely worth reading, maybe witht the exclusion of Sky Pirates, it is my least favorite of the books. I read them in order and I think that would be the best method of reading them in. There are characters and plot points that carry over to the other books, but all in all, it really won't affect the reader too much if you haven't read the previous book or books in the series. As for the order.. here you go:

Indiana Jones and the Peril at Delphi
Indiana Jones and the Dance of the Giants
Indiana Jones and the Seven Veils
Indiana Jones and the Genesis Deluge
Indiana Jones and the Unicorn's Legacy
Indiana Jones and the Interior World
Indiana Jones and the Sky Pirates
Indiana Jones and the White Witch
Indiana Jones and the Philosopher's Stone
Indiana Jones and the Dinosaur Eggs
Indiana Jones and the Hollow Earth
Indiana Jones and the Secret of the Sphinx

Hope that helps you out, and again, they are NOT children's books.
