Don't forget the sex. There are several books, beginning with Perils at Delphi where Indy engages in, well you know, with his teacher. These books are NOT for children. If you are looking for children's books try reading any of the Young Indiana Jones books, except one. I forget who wrote it, but basically it's an adaptation of the episode in which Indy meets Mata Hari. Or you could try the Indiana Jones find your fate novels that were written in the 1980's. Those were also children's books.
