Looks like a Smith with an 8 inch barrel. I've fired one in 44 mag before, and have to say that extra weight up front sure helps keep the recoiling barrel from flipping up into your face. They make 'em that long, and a lot of folks prefer them in this configuration. Regards. Michaelson
