BOIC Glasses

I need a new pair of glasses and I thought why not get Indy's. I looked at the Indygear website and followed the link to the BOIC P3 on framesdirect.com. It says the frames are Zyl. What the heck is Zyl? Are they not yellow gold? Were Indy's yellow gold? They look silver to me from watching the movies. Any info would be appreciated.
