Well, the Ukrainian Catholic Church, while in communion with Rome, goes by the Julian calander (it's a custom, like having married clergymen, that they were able to keep retain. The church developed in relative isolation from its establishment in Ukraine, so there was actually more Orthodox influence than Roman). As for the presents... I'd love twice as many, but Christmas is just an awesome day... having two a year is quite enough!

Pax,

:       Hmm... interesting that a Catholic Priest celebrated Christmas on the old (Julian) calendar when usually only the Eastern Orthodox Church does, considering that the Roman Catholic Church generally runs by the new (Gregorian) calendar.

:       In any case, it is nice to get twice as many Christmas presents each year! ;)
