well I also think that The Collective and LucasArts are on the right track with the new game. I would love for this and future Indy games to mirror the format of the movies - an opening level that would be like the ending of a different adventure (a la Obi Wan Club and Indy vs Belloq & the Hovitos) before heading into the story of the game.

I also think Indy games would be a good way to explore Indy's relationship with other characters from the films, like Jock and Sallah, who help him out throughout the movies.

I think that LucasArts could develop an Indy game that explores his background more, in the same way they delve into Jango Fett with Star Wars Bounty Hunter - showing how he meets Zam Wessel, gets Slave 1, and gets chosen as the clone template.

: Hey:

: Thought this might be a cool thread, to fill the hours while we wait (sorry, months for the PS2 owners) for Emperor's Tomb.

: Personally, I think all of the elements are in place now for a real kick ass "Raiders" game. I think the plot of "Raiders" lends itself to a game, considering that the last two Indy games have sort of gone that route anyway. Obviously things would have to be mixed up and some liberties taken, or it would be a real short game for anyone that's seen the movie more than once...

: BUT - imagine playing through The Well Of Souls...or the Map Room, with a countdown; get that Staff in the right place before the sun comes in or the Ratzi's catch you...imagine the desert truck chase with today's graphic capabilities...

: Man, I drool just thinking about it...

: BTW - COMPLETELY off topic, just downloaded the non-Phil Spectorized "Let It Be" and it is a gem; can't wait for the "official" release...
