: : : : Can anyone tell me what scene Pat Roach appears in in "The Last Crusade". His name is in the credits at the end, but I can't seem to see him anywhere. Was there a big fight scene between his character and Indy that was cut from the final release?

: : : : Many thanks,

: : : He is in the scene where the two Nazi's run out to the stop the airship from taking off when Indy and Dr. Jones are "safely" aboard. The big bald headed German official running to stop the take off is Pat Roach. Regards. Michaelson

: : There was also a big fight between Indy and this Gestapo officer in the lower decks of the Zeppelin which culminated in Henry Sr. helping Indy and accidentaly tipping the huge Gestapo officer out of the airship - to his death. This was mentioned in some of the earlier Last Crusade story books.
: : Seeya Hannibal

: I remember reading that, but unfortunately that scene never made it to the screen. Regards. Michaelson

Thanks for the information. It seems an unusual break from the continuity of the first two films for Pat Roach to be in the film and yet not feature in a drawn out fight with Indy. Do you think such a scene was actually filmed, but cut from the final release? Or perhaps the scene was planned/scripted (other than in the novel), but either Pat Roach or Harrison Ford wasn't up to it on the day. What are your thoughts on this?

Many thanks,

Satipo
