Regarding Jackson's voodoo curse

I was curious about the ex-financial advisor Lee who is suing Jacko for $12 million. A possible reason for Lee leaving Jacko's employ is the cost of the Mali 'voodoo' ceremony: $150,000 which included the killing of 42 head of cattle.
That works out to a little over US$3500 per cow.
This seems to be substantially higher than the US$250 price for cows in Mali.
Now, even given some reasonable costs associated with the witchdoctoring, it does seem an unusual markup.
Maybe Lee was skimming some voodoo-earmarked funds for himself; or maybe he just got ripped off by the voodoo organizers.
So it's not unreasonable that Jacko would have let him go for such poor financial advising, is it? I mean, come on now.
I wasn't sure if this should be posted on Indyfan....
