: walker here.
: It's been awhile since I posted anything but figured this
was worth letting you all know about.
: As I've mentioned in the past, I work in the
publisher/wholesaler
: industry and have pretty ready access to Indy publishing
schedules. I've just received all the advance catalogues
from Bantam detailing publishing schedules through July and
IJ and the Secret of the Sphinx is nowhere to be found. It
was a May release (which means we would see it some time in
April), so either it's been cancelled or delayed.

: I have asked a friend of mine who is a sales rep at
Bantam to investigate and he is checking. If I hear any
news, good or bad, I'll post it.

: Just as West End Games and Dark Horse Comics have stopped
production on all Indy stuff, it looks like Bantam may have
given up as well (They already gave up on the Intermediate
children's line with completed stories ready to go!).

I didn't think West End Games stopped publishing Indy stuff! I just bought a NEW book called "Magic and Mysticism: The Dark Continent" last month!! And I talked to George Strayton, the Indy line editor, recently and he didn't say anything about it although he did say that the Indy line was near the bottom as far as sales go. Let's see if we can change that, huh guys?!
Also, there is a new intermediate book coming out called "Young Indiana Jones and the Ring of Power". So, where's "Mask of the Madman", Random House?
