Well, not necessarily. A lot of the old reference Bibles, such as this one represents, had a LOT of narrative work put in the front of the text, or Old Testament. I have several at home that the actual Biblical text is 2/3 of the way in the back of the book due to all the scholarly ramblings in the front. Regards. Michaelson
