In the Temple of Doom...

I was watching the TOD last night and a question struck me. When Indy and the rest arrive at the palace and they are getting ready for dinner, Indy yells, "Shorty! Where is my razor!" While he is yelling this Shorty is at the window. Now, this is a pretty wierd question and I know it is stupid but what is going on there? I mean, did Short Round take it and feed it to the birds or what? I just started thinking about it and I was just wondering if it meant anything or not. Any input?
