Hey, dudes. The Huttman here. There must be someone out there who can help me out on a question I have been wondering for years. I have tried to research the subject, but can't find anything. The question is: did a province called Pankot ever exist in India? I have not been able to find it on any map, new or old. Is it a fictional place made up by George Lucas? Given my lack of success in finding anything on it, I have to conclude it is fictional. If anyone knows otherwise please tell me. But in the other two films, most of the locations are legit (well, aside from a few like the Canyon of the Crescent Moon; it's really Petra). Please help. Thanks dudes. :)
